Cilantro pesto
A delicious pesto
Equipment
- Food processor
Ingredients
- 1 bunch Cilantro
- 1 clove Garlic
- 3 tbsp Sunflower seeds
- 3 tbsp Walnuts
- 1/4 cup Nutritional yeast
- 1/8 tsp Sea salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Add the cilantro, sunflower seeds, walnuts, garlic, nutritional yeast, sea salt, lemon juice, and water to a food processor.
- With the food processor running, slowly stream in the olive oil. Continue to blend for 30 seconds until pesto is smooth and emulsified. Season with additional salt or lemon juice, if needed.
- Transfer to a jar and enjoy!
